Shared note

The Frederick News of 29 Jan 1891 has this note: "A number of the friends of Mr. Henson Poole of West Patrick street, visited his home last night and surprised his family by tendering them with a large donation of the necessaries of life, which were heartily accepted by the recipients." On 18 Aug 1893, the Frederick News reported that, "Mr Hanson Poole, of this city, lost a valuable horse last night, which died of colic." He and his wife are listed as having received $25 on a published Frederick County pension list on 29 Oct 1898. He died between this time and 13 Jan 1900, when his wife Elizabeth was declared insane and was committed to Montevue Hospital for treatment.
