"Floyd Edward Zimmerman, died at his home 702 Trail avenue, Tuesday evening at 6.10 o'clock after an illness of one year, aged 62 years. He was a son of the late Charles E. and Hattie Stockman Zimmerman, and was a member of the Francis Scott Key Post, No. 11 American Legion, Jefferson Council 127 Jr. O.U.A.M. and Knights of Pythias. For over 35 years he was engaged in the huckstering business. Surviving are the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Naomi Crampton, Mrs. Charles Kinna, Miss Eva Zimmerman, Roy McK. Zimmerman, all of Frederick; Ralph P. Zimmerman, Braddock Heights, and Mrs. John Franklin Miller, Frederick, and a number of nieces and nephews. Two stepchildren, Elmer W. Mottern and Mrs. Casper Crum, both of Frederick, also survive."
