Her second huband, John Wason, was killed in an Indian attack on May 26th, 1756. Ann was held captive by Indians for three and a half years. On December 1st, 1759, Ann was returned to Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor James Hamilton by Teedyuscung, Chief of the Delaware tribe.
