Per Egle, buried at Long's Church, which was a Lutheran church as of 1896: "Here are buried some of the very early settlers of Powell's Valley, who left the Scotch-Irish and German settlements across Peter's Mountain prior to this century."

Long's Church is now simply Long's Cemetery, with no associated church. The cemetery is in remarkably good condition, given its age.
