Frances Edward Withington died May 19, 1922, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. E. Anderson, with whom he made his home for several years past.
Mrs. Withington preceded him to the better land several years ago. Brother Withington was a patient sufferer, having been confined to his room for several years. He had been a consistent member of the M. E. church of Petersburg, for many years. His comfort and consolation during his long illness was the consciousness of the abiding peace of the Master. It was our privilege to administer the Holy Communion to him a few days before he passed away. He is survived by four daughters. Funeral services at the home of W. E. Anderson on Monday, May 22nd, 2:30 p.m., were conducted by C. F. Himes, pastor, assisted by Rev. J. M. Williams of Camp Hill. Interment in the Petersburg cemetery.
